GITE INFORMATION

THE BEAMS is ideally situated for wine tasting (with 4 Caves within 15 min drive) walking, sight seeing or you can try the bikes on the purpose built 40 km cycle track (no hills) from Buxy to Chalon, Cluny and Macon. Golf, tennis and horse riding are all 10 to 20 minutes away. Historic towns of Beaune & Dijon are 35 and 65 minutes away. Auberge " Les vignes " an excellent Auberge only 3 minutes drive. Buxy is just 10 minutes drive where you have 2 small and 1 good-sized supermarket, excellent Cave and restaurants and shops.

"When we first visited The Beams in September 2007 we were made to feel very welcome and it was this, which brought
us back at the end of June 2009 and again in 2011. The ambiance you have created at The Beams is testament to the
amount of clients who keep returning for more. Bluebell Cottage with its "fishy" theme was superb and we both enjoyed
a very relaxing time, despite the storm on Bastille Day. We think of The Beams all the time as we start to plan for next year.
